The pandemic and loss of life have placed our society under a microscope. Healthcare, nutrition, the criminal justice system, education, and countless other facets of our worlds have inequalities, and access to opportunity and resources. The death of George Floyd set in motion additional waves of protests and questions around surveillance, class standing, and opportunities to socially and economoically ascned.

We then saw attacks on salons in the Atlanta, Georgia area in March of 2021 spurning new protests and charges to #StopAsianHate. While xenophobia and aggression(s) against pan-Asians are not new for these communities, it seemed to be to the general public.

To that end, this podcast and blog will bring on voices that speak to South Asian and pan-Asian realities and experiences ranging from immigration to school, home, and work.

We look forward to sharing these insights with you in the hopes that you might develop new/deeper understandings of yourself and our world as we collectively march forward.
